Greenworks published the 24V PowerAll platform in early 2025 as a yard-and-shop ecosystem. The drill/driver, hammer drill, oscillating multi-tool, and rotary tool came first. The new RS532 extends the platform into demolition work, which is where the brand’s 24V handhelds have been thinnest so far. The 24V battery is the same one that powers your Greenworks mower or pressure washer, so homeowners with an existing 24V kit can skip the battery buy.

The specialty touches are simple: tool-free blade change, adjustable and pivoting shoe for flush cuts, LED work light on the front, rafter hook on the back, trigger lock to prevent pocket fires. Standard 1/2-inch blade shank takes the same blades as a Milwaukee Sawzall or DeWalt reciprocating saw. Where the RS532 lands against the Sawzall
The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Sawzall 2821-20 runs 3,000 SPM with a 1-1/8 inch stroke and weighs about 5.7 lbs bare. The Greenworks RS532 is heavier at 7.1 lbs and runs 3,200 SPM, but it has a longer 1.25 inch stroke, which translates to faster cuts through 2x4s and similar lumber. The M18 FUEL is also a $199 bare tool. So the Greenworks comes in $80 cheaper, with a longer stroke and a heavier chassis, and loses the Milwauke tool ergonomics and the M18 battery wall if you already own one.
For homeowners and DIYers who already run a Greenworks 24V yard kit, the math is straightforward. You get a real demolition saw (not a mini) without buying a second battery platform. For pros in an M18 or DeWalt 20V MAX shop, the RS532 isn’t trying to compete. It’s a platform extension play, not a flagship killer.

The RS532 is listed at Walmart for $119, with 4-hour delivery available in select markets. This is a Walmart-exclusive. The 24V PowerAll indoor tools live on Walmart, while the 40V and 80V outdoor lines sell through other retailers. If you want a kit with a battery and charger, Greenworks sells the 24V 4.0Ah pack and 24V charger separately. The brand did not publish a kit price at the time of writing.
