Milwaukee Expands AIR-TIP Line With 5 New Trade-Focused Vacuum Attachments \xe2\x80\x94 Available May 2026

Milwaukee Tool is adding five new accessories to its AIR-TIP vacuum attachment lineup, each engineered for a specific trade or application. The new attachments ship to Home Depot shelves starting May 2026.

The AIR-TIP family has been Milwaukee’s quiet workhorse for years — adapters and nozzles designed to work with 1-1/4″, 1-7/8″, and 2-1/2″ wet/dry vac hoses regardless of brand. The five incoming additions expand coverage into automotive detailing, mixing/mud work, and hands-free wall cleanup.

What’s New

Three attachments are confirmed from Milwaukee’s press release:

  • Automotive Detail Brush — Stiff bristles agitate debris embedded in automotive carpet. Targets detail shops and auto service techs who need cleaning action, not just suction.
  • Bucket Topper Dust Collector — Clips to the rim of a standard 5-gallon bucket. A crescent-shaped cutout keeps space open for mixing while capturing dust plumes from the work area. Built for drywall compound, thinset, and concrete mixing jobs.
  • Compact Dust Collector — A rubber-sealed head suctions to a flat surface and funnels debris directly into the hose. Designed for hands-free cleanup in corners, tight bays, and enclosed spaces without having to hold the nozzle.

Two additional SKUs round out the five-piece expansion. Milwaukee has not released specs or photos on the remaining two ahead of the May launch date.

Who It’s For

The AIR-TIP line was built around one premise: stop buying tool-brand-specific adapters. All five new attachments fit standard 1-1/4″, 1-7/8″, and 2-1/2″ hose diameters, making them compatible with Milwaukee M12/M18 vacs, DeWalt, Makita, and most shop vac brands on the market.

The Bucket Topper is the most immediately useful addition for contractors who mix compounds on-site. Between mudwork, thinset, and concrete prep, fine dust escaping a bucket rim is a constant OSHA headache. A clipped-on collector that doesn’t block the opening is a simple fix that’s been missing from most trade accessory lines.

Pricing and Availability

Milwaukee has not announced individual pricing for the new attachments yet. Existing AIR-TIP accessories retail between $15 and $30 at Home Depot. The five new SKUs are expected at Home Depot starting May 2026.
