Milwaukee’s PACKOUT modular storage system is getting six new accessories this month — four attachments that clip to the outside of existing tool boxes and crates, plus two internal divider options for better organization. If you’re already invested in the PACKOUT ecosystem, these close some real gaps.
Four New Attachments (Clip to the Outside of Your Stack)
The attachment accessories mount on the exterior of PACKOUT tool boxes and crates, making use of space that was previously dead real estate on the side of your stack:
- 2-Bin Attachment (48-22-8610) — $34.99. Two clear-lid bins with included dividers, designed for nuts, bolts, fasteners, and small hardware. Attaches securely to the outside of the tool box with two dividers pre-installed.
- Magnetic Bin Attachment (48-22-8611) — $37.99. Magnetic-mount version of the bin attachment. Useful for metal surfaces and tool carts that support PACKOUT.
- Accessory Case Attachment (48-22-8612) — $32.99. Built specifically for Sawzall blade organization. Ships with a blade divider tray and a 12-inch blade storage clip on the back. Keeps demolition blades sorted and accessible without digging through a drawer.
- Belt Clip Rack Attachment (48-22-8609) — $32.99. External rack for belts, straps, extension cords, or similar items. Keeps flexible materials off the floor and off your workbench.
Two New Dividers (Internal Organization)
- Divider for PACKOUT Crate (48-22-8038) — $19.99. A single divider that slides into Milwaukee’s PACKOUT crate, splitting it into two separate sections. Useful for separating tool categories when carrying a mixed load.
- Divider for PACKOUT Drawer Tool Boxes (48-22-8047) — $9.99. Adjustable internal dividers for the drawer-style PACKOUT boxes. One of the most-requested accessories for the drawer system.
Milwaukee also released the Tool Box Attachment Ready Tray (48-22-8029) — $24.99, which serves as an adapter allowing the new attachment accessories to mount on older PACKOUT boxes that didn’t ship with attachment rails. This keeps older stacks compatible with the new accessories rather than forcing an upgrade.
Why PACKOUT Keeps Expanding
PACKOUT has become one of Milwaukee’s most important product lines — a modular storage platform that started with basic tool boxes and has grown into a full ecosystem including radios, wet/dry vacs, lighting, and now purpose-built organizational accessories. The philosophy is the same as the M18 battery ecosystem: once you’re in, switching costs are high.
The new attachments address a legitimate complaint from PACKOUT users: the system is great for transporting tools, but the exterior of a stacked setup is wasted space. The bin and blade accessories convert that dead space into functional storage without adding a separate container.
All six products carry Milwaukee’s limited lifetime warranty and are rolling out to Home Depot shelves and milwaukeetool.com through April 2026.
Is PACKOUT Still the Best Modular System?
PACKOUT remains the most mature modular storage ecosystem in the market, but DeWalt TSTAK and Ridgid’s system have been catching up.
