At 10 ft-lbs of powered torque puts it in light-duty ratchet territory, and the 35 ft-lbs manual mode is the real backstop. When the motor stalls on a stubborn fastener, you keep turning by hand.

One more note: the directional switch and trigger live on one side of the head, so your controls flip orientation when you swap driving modes, and the head is not a low-profile design.
