Milwaukee’s push into USA-made hand tools is picking up steam. After launching the MT702 wire stripper in April, the brand is rolling out a full lineup of bundled sets that combine pliers, wire strippers, and screwdrivers — all made in West Bend, Wisconsin — with a PACKOUT organizer included for the flagship kit.
What’s in the New Sets
The main bundle is the MT500-6P, a 6-piece set shipping in May 2026 that includes:
- 9-inch Lineman’s Dipped Grip Pliers
- 8-inch Diagonal Cutting Pliers
- 8-inch Long Nose Pliers
- 8–20 AWG Wire Stripper & Cutter (same as the MT702)
- #2 Phillips + 1/4-inch slotted Cushion Grip Screwdrivers
- PACKOUT Low-Profile Compact Organizer
An organizer-free version (MT500-6) is also launching, along with a comfort-grip variant (MT550-6) and dedicated 6-piece screwdriver-only sets (MT200-6, MT200-6P). The “P” suffix always means PACKOUT storage is included.
The Value Play
Pairing these with PACKOUT is smart positioning. The PACKOUT system is Milwaukee’s most actively expanding product line, and a compact organizer that snaps into your existing PACKOUT stack gives an everyday electrician’s kit a home on the truck. For tradespeople already invested in M18 batteries and PACKOUT storage, this is a low-friction way to round out the hand tool collection under the same brand and warranty.
Pricing hasn’t been officially confirmed for all sets, but similar Milwaukee USA-made hand tool bundles typically run $80–$150 depending on piece count. The PACKOUT Low-Profile Compact Organizer normally retails around $30–$40 standalone, so the “P” kits are worth the price premium if you’re already in the ecosystem.
Part of a Broader USA-Made Push
Milwaukee has been methodically expanding its West Bend facility to cover more product categories. The MT702 wire stripper was the first Milwaukee electrical hand tool made in the USA beyond pliers and screwdrivers. The MT500-6P bundles that same MT702 directly into a set, making it easy for electrical contractors to outfit an apprentice in one order.
All hand tools carry a Lifetime Guarantee. The PACKOUT organizer carries Milwaukee’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. Milwaukee has been releasing hand tools aggressively this spring — the MT500-6P is the one to watch if you do electrical work.
When and Where
The MT500-6P launches in May 2026 at Home Depot. The full range — pliers sets, screwdriver sets, and comfort-grip variants — is expected to be complete by June 2026.
