Skil’s PWR CORE 20 multi-head drill driver kit just hit $116.10 at Amazon, down from the $139 it launched at and well under its $149 list. For a four-head brushless drill/driver with a battery and charger in the box, that’s the lowest price we’ve tracked on it.

We verified the price and stock directly on the Amazon listing today. The kit includes the drill body, a 3/8″ keyless chuck, a quick-release bit holder, an offset driving head, and a right angle adapter, plus a 2.0Ah battery and a 45W USB-C charger.

What Makes This Kit Different

The multi-head design is the draw. One brushless motor body, four heads: chuck it like a drill, snap on the offset head for cabinet screws, or use the right angle adapter between studs. The heads swap without tools, and the right angle and offset heads can stack together for genuinely weird spaces.

The battery is the other oddity worth knowing about. Skil charges it over USB-C with the included 45W adapter instead of a wall charger, and the pack itself has a 100W USB-C output, so it doubles as a power bank for your phone. Specs from Skil’s sheet: 450 in-lbs max torque, 0-500/0-1,800 RPM two-speed gearbox.

How It Stacks Up Against DeWalt and Makita

DeWalt’s Atomic 20V MAX multi-head (DCD803B) runs $225.98 bare in our tracker right now. Makita’s 18V LXT DDF491 multi-head hasn’t even landed in the US yet. That leaves Skil as the only multi-head kit at this price with everything included, and the gap to DeWalt is $110 before you buy a battery.

Trade-offs are real, though. The chuck is 3/8″, not 1/2″. Skil is a DIY brand, not a pro one. And USB-only charging means no dock charger, which some folks will hate. But if you’re mounting cabinets, working inside joist bays, or just want one drill that does angles and offsets, this is the cheapest credible way in.

Who Should Buy It

If you already own a solid drill and this would be your second tool for fiddly spots, the math works at $116. If it’s your first drill, our best cordless drills guide covers stronger all-around options first, and our beginner drill picks explain why a straight drill often beats a gimmick at this stage.

Deals on this kit have been rare since it showed up last fall, and Amazon pricing on Skil tends to drift back to list within days. If the multi-head format has been on your wishlist, this is the entry point worth grabbing.
