Ryobi is adding two new cordless pressure washers to its summer 2026 lineup, and both are built around the brand’s existing battery platforms. The 18V ONE+ version slots into the same batteries DIYers already own. The 40V HP Brushless model steps up to 1000 PSI for users who want more cleaning muscle and longer runtime.
Both ship with a 20-foot siphon hose, a 2L bottle adapter, three nozzles (15-degree, 40-degree, and Turbo), a metal extension wand, and a quick-connect coupler that fits most standard pressure washer accessories. The 40V model adds a shoulder strap. The 18V model ships with a water-resistant battery enclosure.
Specs at a Glance
| Model | Platform | Max PSI | Max GPM | Bare Tool | Kit Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PCLPC07 | 18V ONE+ | 700 | 0.8 | $129 | $189 (4.0Ah) |
| RY40HPPC01 | 40V HP Brushless | 1000 | 1.0 | $189 | $259 (2.0Ah) |
How They Compare
The 18V PCLPC07 is the natural fit for anyone already running ONE+ tools. Runtime is rated at 11 minutes on a 4.0Ah pack, 16 on a 6.0Ah, and 21 on an 8.0Ah. At 700 PSI it covers car washing, patio furniture, bikes, and light grime, but it is not a deck-stripping machine.
The 40V RY40HPPC01 is the more serious tool. The brushless motor pushes it to 1000 PSI in Max mode with 1.0 GPM, dropping to 700 PSI and 0.8 GPM in Eco mode to stretch runtime. Ryobi rates Max runtime at 14 minutes on a 4.0Ah pack, 22 on a 6.0Ah, and 30 on an 8.0Ah. Eco mode doubles those numbers.
Both products are positioned for siphon-fed use, which means they pull water from a bucket, a lake, a pool, or a 2L soda bottle. There is no onboard tank. That keeps the body small and the price down, but it also means these are not drop-in replacements for a full-size electric pressure washer.
Market Positioning
Cordless power cleaners have stayed a niche category. Makita launched an 18V LXT 320 PSI power cleaner in 2025, and Ryobi’s prior 18V EZClean 600 PSI model has been the budget option for years. The new lineup pushes PSI ratings up meaningfully on both platforms and gives 40V HP users a brushless tool with a real Eco mode for jobs that last more than 10 minutes.
The $129 bare-tool price for the 18V model is the headline. Anyone with a few ONE+ batteries in the drawer can add a usable pressure washer for less than the cost of a new drill kit. The 40V kit at $259 lands in the same range as a Makita 18V LXT power cleaner and a lot of compact electric units, but with the higher PSI and a brushless motor.
When and Where to Buy
Both Ryobi power cleaners are scheduled to launch in July 2026 and will be sold at Home Depot. Home Depot is Ryobi’s exclusive U.S. retail partner, so do not expect these to show up on Amazon or at Lowe’s. We will update this post with confirmed Home Depot product URLs as soon as they go live.
