Milwaukee’s PACKOUT buy-more-save-more event is live at Home Depot again for Black Friday, and it is still the best discount on tool storage in the brand’s calendar. ToolGuyd confirmed the deal on Nov. 3 and says it looks set to run through January 2027.

The tiers

  • $50 off when you spend $199 or more
  • $90 off when you spend $299 or more
  • $150 off when you spend $399 or more
  • One qualifying item is enough, so a single large box over $199 earns the $50 tier.
  • It comes off at checkout, not as a mail-in rebate.

You get the discount instantly at checkout. You do not need to buy several different items. One large PACKOUT tool box or rolling chest over $199 triggers the first tier on its own. Acme Tools is running the same promotion if Home Depot is out of the piece you want.

What is eligible

The offer covers most of the line. Tool boxes, organizers, drawer boxes, crates, totes, tool bags, wall plates, carts, and the small accessories like magnetic parts cups and battery holders all appear on the eligible list. ToolGuyd found a few exceptions, mostly small magnetic trays in stores, and noted some items that were ineligible in store were eligible online.

Drawer boxes are the part worth targeting. A 3-drawer or 4-drawer box gets you close to the $299 tier on its own, and the $90 off is real money on a box you will use for a decade. Same for the 38-inch rolling tool chest.

Why the timing matters

PACKOUT is the most copied storage system on the market, and the price ladder here is steeper than what the competition offers on modular storage. DeWalt just moved ToughSystem onto Lowe’s shelves, which tells you the storage fight is getting tighter. Bosch’s L-Boxx pricing has also been shifting.

But if you are already inside the Milwaukee platform, switching systems means re-buying every box. This deal is cheaper than switching. If you are starting from zero, our tool storage comparison weighs PACKOUT against ToughSystem and L-Boxx on price per box and lock compatibility.

How to shop it

Home Depot marks eligible items on each product page, and the discount lands in the cart once your subtotal clears a tier.

Build your cart to the next tier if you are close. If you land at $190, adding a $20 organizer takes you to the $50 tier and pays for itself several times over. Popular pieces sold out in past runs, so order the big boxes first. Stores sometimes accept backorders, and ToolGuyd’s past backorders on PACKOUT boxes came in quickly.

Stock on the big boxes moves fast during this event, so start with the pieces you actually need.

Eligible items are marked on each product page. Check that before checkout, and verify the current price, since the event runs while supplies last.
