Bosch’s professional L-Boxx modular storage system is officially open for USA preorder at Acme Tools, with shipping expected in August 2026. The lineup adds six pieces to the existing L-Boxx series, including three sizes new to the U.S. market and a rolling tool box designed to fit under a closed pickup bed cover.
Preorder Pricing and Lineup at Acme Tools
| Model | Description | Price |
|---|---|---|
| L-BOXX-170 | Small tool box | $85 |
| L-BOXX-322 | Medium tool box | $95 |
| L-BOXX-476 | Rolling tool box (telescoping handle, 9.5″ wheels, 250 lb rating) | $179 |
| L-Boxx-Crate | Open-top tote | $55 |
| L-Boxx-Drawer-3 | 3-drawer tool box | $199 |
| L-Boxx-Rack-2 | Wall rack (holds up to 2 older L-Boxx units) | $179 |
The rolling L-Boxx-476 uses the same telescoping-handle design Bosch has shipped in Europe for years, sized so it slides under a standard pickup bed cover when collapsed. A 250 lb load rating matches what most trades need for a rolling tool station. Inside the modular footprint, the 3-drawer box adds organization, while the L-Boxx-Rack-2 gives existing Bosch storage users a way to mount older L-Boxx units on the wall without buying a full new case.
What Makes the L-Boxx Different From PACKOUT and TSTAK
The L-Boxx is Bosch’s stackable, interlocking storage system, the same concept as Milwaukee PACKOUT and DeWalt TSTAK, but with a different design lineage. The system has been on European jobsites for years and has been building U.S. traction through Bosch 18V platform users who want storage matched to their tools. The new Contractor tier is built for trade use rather than light hobby work, with accessory side rails and a one-handed release latch on the new cases.
Until now, Bosch has largely been an online or specialty-channel story in the U.S. for storage products. Acme Tools preorder puts L-Boxx in front of contractors who already run Bosch cordless tools and want storage from the same brand. Full lineup availability at Lowe’s is expected once the Acme Tools preorder window closes.
What This Means for Buyers
If you already run Bosch 18V cordless tools, the L-Boxx lineup gives you platform-matched storage without cross-brand compatibility workarounds. Choosing between modular storage systems is easier now that Bosch has verified U.S. pricing and a confirmed August ship date. For Milwaukee PACKOUT and DeWalt TSTAK buyers, the new Bosch entry raises the comparison bar on European-style stack geometry and side-rail accessorization.
Ship dates are still tentative per Acme Tools listings. Watch for official Lowe’s availability to confirm full U.S. retail rollout timing.
