Milwaukee just posted specs for its next big cordless saw — and it’s the biggest circular saw the company has ever put on M18. The M18 FUEL™ 10-1/4″ Rear Handle Circular Saw (model 3026-20) is listed “Coming Soon” on Milwaukee’s site, with enough detail to know this is a genuine framing tool, not a trim saw in a large frame.
Why 10-1/4″ Matters
Blade size determines depth of cut. The 3026-20 delivers a 3-13/16″ cut depth at 90 degrees — enough to power through 4x dimensional lumber in a single pass. The M18 FUEL 7-1/4″ (2930-20), which Milwaukee launched earlier this spring, tops out at 2-5/8″ — plenty for 2x framing, but not 4x posts or beams.
If you’re cutting 4×4, 4×6, or LVL headers, you currently need a corded worm drive or track saw to do it in one pass on a cordless platform. The 3026-20 targets that gap directly.

Where It Fits Milwaukee’s Lineup
The 3026-20 is the big brother to the recently launched M18 FUEL 7-1/4″ Rear Handle (2930-20). Both share the FORGE HD12.0 battery and the rear handle ergonomic layout preferred by many framers for better sightline and control on long cuts. The 3026-20 trades some runtime for the ability to cut larger stock — 250 cuts per charge in 4×4 versus 700 cuts per charge in 2x material for the 7-1/4″.
On the competitive side, Makita’s 40V XGT 10-1/4″ chainsaw has been the benchmark for cordless large-blade capability. Milwaukee entering this segment on M18 — an 18V platform — with competitive weight claims is notable. It speaks to how far FORGE battery technology and POWERSTATE motors have pushed the envelope on what 18V can do.
Both Milwaukee saws were part of a broader 2026 product push first telegraphed at the World of Concrete 2026 announcements.
