Milwaukee ROLL-ON 3301R Launches: 6kWh Battery Doubles Runtime for Jobsite Power

Milwaukee’s portable power station just leveled up. The ROLL-ON 7200W/3600W 6.0kWh Power Supply (model 3301R) launched March 16, 2026, more than doubling the battery capacity of the original 3300R and pushing the ROLL-ON firmly into all-day generator replacement territory.

The Big Upgrade: 6.0kWh

The 3300R — still available, still capable — shipped with a 2.5kWh integrated REDLITHIUM™ battery. The 3301R swaps in a 6.0kWh pack, which Milwaukee says delivers “over 2x run-time” for more demanding applications. That’s a significant jump if you’re running multiple corded tools, rapid chargers, or job-site lighting throughout a full shift.

Power output stays the same at the wall: 7200W peak (handles motor startup surges) and 3600W continuous. Two 20A GFCI duplex outlets with circuit breakers, USB-C, and USB-A ports round out the connectivity. The pure sine wave inverter means sensitive electronics — battery chargers, laptops, test equipment — get clean power without the fluctuations that can damage gear.

Built for the Jobsite

IP54 rating means dust and water splash won’t kill it. The 9.5-inch all-terrain wheels handle gravel, mud, and uneven ground, and the design stays PACKOUT™ compatible for guys already stacking Milwaukee’s modular storage. It runs silently and produces zero emissions, so it goes where gas generators can’t: inside structures, in service vehicles, or anywhere combustion fumes are a problem.

Compare that to a standard gas generator: fuel management, startup hassle, noise, carbon monoxide risk, and a separate fuel cost. For crews already on the M18 ecosystem, the 3301R eliminates most of those friction points for typical day-job power needs.

3301R vs 3300R: Which One?

The 3300R still makes sense for lighter loads or shorter jobs — it’s available at a lower price point and the 2.5kWh capacity is adequate for many tasks. The 3301R is the answer when you need all-day runtime: running two chargers simultaneously, powering continuous-use equipment, or handling job sites where you can’t afford downtime to recharge mid-day.

Neither model uses removable M18 batteries — the REDLITHIUM™ pack is integrated. You charge the unit itself, not swap cells. That’s worth knowing before you buy.

Where to Buy

Milwaukee is a Home Depot exclusive — it’s not on Amazon. The 3301R is available now at Home Depot and through industrial Milwaukee distributors. Milwaukee restricts public MAP pricing display, so add to cart to see the current price.
