Milwaukee PACKOUT Gets 7 New Tool Box Attachments — Magnetic Bins, Belt Clip Racks, and More Ship April 29

Milwaukee is expanding its PACKOUT Modular Storage System with seven new Tool Box Attachments that clip onto the metal-reinforced corners on the outside of any PACKOUT Tool Box. Four bin and rack attachments are available for preorder now and ship April 29, 2026, at Home Depot.

What’s New: 7 PACKOUT Tool Box Attachments

The new accessories use a common mounting interface that locks onto the metal-reinforced corners built into every PACKOUT Tool Box — the same corners that connect boxes in a vertical stack. The attachments hang off the sides rather than adding height, turning unused exterior surface area into organized storage.

Shipping April 29:

  • 2-Bin Attachment (48-22-8610) — $34.99: Two impact-resistant bins with dividers for quick-access organization. Mounts to the side of any PACKOUT Tool Box.
  • Magnetic Bin Attachment (48-22-8611) — $37.99: A magnetic surface catches nuts, bolts, drill bits, and other ferrous hardware before they hit the floor. Milwaukee built the magnet into a bin so you can pull it off the stack and carry fasteners to the work area.
  • Accessory Case Attachment (48-22-8612) — $32.99: Transparent-lidded case built for Sawzall blades. Includes a 12-inch blade storage clip inside.
  • Belt Clip Rack Attachment (48-22-8609) — $32.99: Adjustable 3-position hooks for mounting tape measures, cordless tools, and other handheld gear to the outside of the PACKOUT stack. 30 lb weight capacity.

Three additional accessories announced for April 2026:

  • Long Tool Holder Attachment (48-22-8607): Spring-loaded gates hold levels, conduit benders, and similar long tools — up to three items at 25 lb capacity.
  • Tool Box Attachment Ready Tray (48-22-8029): An internal organizer tray compatible with Large, XL, and Rolling PACKOUT Tool Boxes, with side compartments and attachment-ready mounting points.
  • Dividers for the PACKOUT Crate and Drawer Tool Boxes.

Why These Matter

PACKOUT has over 100 components, but the system has always been primarily vertical — boxes stacking on boxes. Side-mounting accessories have been a common request from tradespeople who wanted to access frequently-used tools without opening lids or breaking down the stack.

The Magnetic Bin addresses a real jobsite problem. Dropped fasteners either end up in the vacuum or on the floor. Mounting a magnetic bin at the side of your stack means small ferrous hardware stays where you put it. The Belt Clip Rack and Long Tool Holder are similarly practical — keeping a tape measure or torpedo level on the outside of the stack instead of buried in a compartment.

No tools required for installation. Each attachment uses the same quarter-turn interface to lock onto the corner hardware.

This comes on top of five new PACKOUT crates Milwaukee announced at World of Concrete 2026 — the Compact Crate (30 lb, hangable) and Low-Profile Crate (50 lb with adjustable dividers) are among the most anticipated, both also expected in 2026.
