The EGO POWER+ NEXUS 1400W (PST1405-2) delivers 1,400 watts of continuous pure sine wave power with a 2,100-watt peak — enough to run power tools, appliances, lights, and sensitive electronics simultaneously. The kit version ships with two 6.0Ah 56V batteries and a charger and is available now on Amazon for around $899 at time of writing.
What Makes This One Different
EGO’s original NEXUS 3000W is a home-backup machine — big, expensive, and built to keep your house running during an outage. The 1400W hits a different sweet spot: job site use, tailgating, camping trips, and emergency power that fits in the bed of your truck.

Who This Is For
If you already own EGO tools — and our readers who follow our best cordless leaf blowers and best cordless chainsaws guides likely do — this is the most obvious battery platform extender available right now. Stack up to four batteries for more runtime. Need more power for whole-home backup? The 3000W model is still the answer. But for most job site and recreational use cases, 1,400 watts is plenty.
